TRIGGER WARNINGS: Kidnapping, bondage, violence, possibly blood or even death. Also there will be no sex in this musebox ever, so don't even try.

Satisfied that she's made her point, she settles back down against the wall, watching them out of the corner of her eye as she messages her associate. Her sword is still easily in reach. They're not going anywhere for a while.

"Don't get too comfortable now boys. The pickup crew will be here soon."

Cody shifts uncomfortably, but Lovi has entered full-on PTSD flashback mode and is just trying to struggle free with no regard to Cody or Liz. At least he's going it quietly.

After a minute or so Cody turns to Liz, "So um... Judas Liz? Right?" he takes a moment to formulate his question properly, "Are you a patient, or...?"

The magic of zip ties is that they only zip one way. Lovi's struggles are just gonna injure his wrists.

"What do you care?"

"I'm just curious." Cody offers a dry smirk, "Everything's a little less scary once you understand it better. Anyway, you don't have to worry much. According to Lovino I'm not even real. And... I trust him, he's put a lot of work into what he's doing."

Well if that doesn't freeze Lovi up.

Sorry, were you trying to have a Moment? You're in a thread with entirely the wrong person. Judas scoffs, taking her sword up to jut admire it a moment.

"Sorry pretty boy, I'm not exactly in the business of easing minds. And you're real enough that I can't let my guard down. We'll see what they want to do with you."

That's okay, Cody is used to his attempts to create Moments failing. He's dating Lovi after all.

"I guess I can't tempt you to let me go with food, then." Cody sighs, "You're nicer than I expected a kidnapper to be, though. After all the movies I expected to be killed the moment only Lovino was needed."

So many muffled protests from Lovi.

Judas's eyes narrow at being called "nice."

"The only reason you're still alive is because your blood on my hands would be far higher profile than if you both just disappear. Besides...my blade is for someone very specific."

"I guess that makes sense." Cody raises a brow, "So... you're not Liz, huh? I bet I can't bargain you with video games and pizza." A pause while he takes in her shirt. "...Or music albums, maybe? You're into Judas Priest?"

Lovi flails for a second, then decides it might be better to just sit tight and see how this works out.

Judas narrows her eyes. She's heard what passed for Judas Priest here, and it displeased her greatly.

"You're not going to bribe me. They're paying me far better anyway."

[mistersimpatia]

"Fair enough." Cody shrugs, "Hey, good tastes, though. I mean, Judas is cool. Not totally my taste, but cool. I mean... I couldn't pay you very well in CDs, I only have like.. one."

Just as she's starting to look bored with this conversation, there's a buzz from her phone, and she glances at the message.

"They're just outside, boys. Get ready to move."

The boys exchange a glance before Lovi starts struggling once again and Cody just sighs and makes himself as comfortable as possible. Ever the smoothest of operators.
