Angela Tarantella. That was the name she abandoned when her love of crime turned her to what she now was. Murder wasn't originally her interest. What really appealed to her was the fear. Seeing her victims squirm in her captivity, watching how they would try to escape, finding new ways to hold them tighter in her grasp, egging them on in their attempts to escape, though they would never win. Yes, that was the role she much preferred. Serial kidnapper.

Then she fell in with a particular set of individuals. Very shady, very wealthy individuals. They could see the danger she put herself in with her hobby, and they offered her a job. Continue doing what she loves, but in a much bigger dungeon, a lot less running from the police, and so much more fun to be had. The only thing they asked in return was that they helped in their goals; experimentation regarding the nature of Infinites. How they thought, what they did, what could trigger others into unlocking their powers. She would not kill, that was her only rule. But abiding that, there were now so many more ways she could make her little flies squirm. And that was what she was now, not a normal woman anymore, but a spider, watching the insects that she bound in her web writhe in fear. And so she chose a name fitting of that pleasure; the Webmistress.
