What a coincidence, she also looks like exactly who he's thinking. She gets that a lot.

Once she's certain she has his attention and he's not doing anything rash, she smirks slowly, climbing over the couch and guiding him forward slightly. Her grip on his mouth relaxes ever so slightly.

"You're not going to start yelling on me, right?" That was not a true question.

Yelling? Not with a knife at his throat, no. You'll earn some muffled talking, though, the main idea being, "Liza, what the hell?"

She won't answer that, instead slowly taking her hand away, making sure he stays quiet before she occupies herself with the next step. Keeping the knife at his throat, she reaches for a nearby roll of duct tape, using her free hand and teeth to pull the end of the roll free.

She's counting on him to behave himself for the next step, of course, as she pulls the knife away quickly to instead grab his hands, pulling them roughly behind is back and starting to wrap the tape around his wrists.

Neku is not really one to take things like this laying down, however. (Hell, he's died, what, three times now? It's not like that's a terribly new experience for him.) As soon as the knife is away from his neck, he kicks at her, trying to pull away even with some of the tape on his hands.

the sad thing is that Lovi calls her that IC so I just come to expect it I guess lmao

She's only human, unfortunately, so the kick deals a decent blow, causing her to grunt a quiet "oof!" and her grip falters.

Neku's hands aren't too tightly bound, but enough that he can't really hoist himself over the back of the couch, so he instead has to jump up and run around the couch. He'll head for his room, planning to slam the door and lock it behind him. That's about as far as he has planned at the moment.

let me know if I go too far; I wanna let him fight back but XD

She recovers quickly though, growling and scrabbling over the couch, not quick enough to cut him off, but she barely manages instead to grab him by the back of his shirt, yanking him back and throwing him face-first over and onto the couch.

XD no this is cool. he's not nearly as badass without his pins.

"Shit--!!" Neku's slammed forward onto the couch, now officially stranded since this is kind of a difficult position to get out of without use of his hands. Not to mention crazy!Liz has obviously recovered. He is so fucked.

Satisfied, she leaned over him again to finish binding his hands, pulling the tape a little tighter than before in payback.

"Nothing personal, sweetie," she said matter-of-factly, tearing the tape and smoothing the end around his wrists before going to his feet, "Just a little business I need to attend to here."

Yea, hope your face isn't too close to his feet, because he is still fighting this. "What the hell kind of business are you talking about?!"

Nah, she knows better. His feet do hit her shoulder though before she hooks an arm around his legs to hold them in place. That'll probably leave a bruise in the morning.

"Business of a certain hospital you broke into some time ago. And certain paperwork you happened upon."

That's... not helping Neku understand this. Now that his feet are bond, he cranes his head around to stare at her. "...And?"

Finishing her work, the woman sits on the couch with him, leaning over him.

"And I'd much rather give you the option of telling me where those files are before I tear your apartment apart to find them."

...Neku's getting the feeling that he's just tied up right now because she gets a kick out of it. "Why would you even want them?"

...maybe.

"Same reason as you. I want to figure out what I'm doing here so that maybe I can get out. It doesn't do well for my job if I'm stuck in this hell hole."

"I didn't get anything out of them, why do you think you would?" Yea, he doesn't particularly want to give crazy-lady here anyone's personal information.

"Well, maybe I'll find some of the people on that list. I found you easily enough, didn't I?" she sneers, ruffling his hair.

Yea. Yea, that's exactly what he was worried about. "I doubt they'll be able to help you any either."

"No, but I'm sure I'll find another piece of the puzzle. But why am I explaining all this to you anyway? All I want to know is where you've stashed them."

"Well, you're out of luck. I didn't actually take anything from the hospital." A lie, but... he didn't actually tell people he'd taken things, did he? So how would she know?

At first she seems disappointed at that, her lips curling into a frown as she leaned against the couch and reached an arm out as if to stand.

But instead, her hand subtly found itself over Neku's head, and in one swift motion she grabbed his hand and yanked back, then shoved forward again to slam his head into the hard wood of the armrest.

"Want to try that again?"

Neku swears again, eyes shutting tightly against the sharp pain now coursing through his head. He's surprised he's not bleeding... not that he can check. "What the hell do you want me to tell you? I don't have anything!"

I...honestly have no idea how she tracked it down to him. Magic? XD

"The truth," she scowls, "I already looked in the hospital for the records. If you didn't take them, then where are they?"

it's a logical conclusion. especially since... he's lying. XD

"I don't know. Maybe after we broke in they decided not to leave that shit around? Not sure why they didn't destroy it in the first place..." Honestly that was something he'd never thought of. Why did they keep those records around? Did they really not expect that?

"And you weren't the least bit curious enough to just hold onto them yourself?"

But it seems clear that she's not going to get anything out of him. She stands, rounding the couch again to the kitchen, out of his line of sight.

"If you're smart enough to think they might have hidden or destroyed those files when they realized someone was there, I'd expect you or your friend would be smart enough to take them before that happened."
