Neku swears again, eyes shutting tightly against the sharp pain now coursing through his head. He's surprised he's not bleeding... not that he can check. "What the hell do you want me to tell you? I don't have anything!"

I...honestly have no idea how she tracked it down to him. Magic? XD

"The truth," she scowls, "I already looked in the hospital for the records. If you didn't take them, then where are they?"

it's a logical conclusion. especially since... he's lying. XD

"I don't know. Maybe after we broke in they decided not to leave that shit around? Not sure why they didn't destroy it in the first place..." Honestly that was something he'd never thought of. Why did they keep those records around? Did they really not expect that?

"And you weren't the least bit curious enough to just hold onto them yourself?"

But it seems clear that she's not going to get anything out of him. She stands, rounding the couch again to the kitchen, out of his line of sight.

"If you're smart enough to think they might have hidden or destroyed those files when they realized someone was there, I'd expect you or your friend would be smart enough to take them before that happened."

"Hindsight is a bitch like that." Neku's trying to lift his head up to see where she's going, or... to see if he can actually get up enough to do something. Neither is proving to be successful.

There's a sound of something tearing from the kitchen and after some silence, she returns, reaching for the duct tape again as she bundles a small wad of cloth that she probably tore from a nearby dish rag into a ball in her hand.

"Well, if there's anything really important you want to tell me otherwise, now would be the time."

...Shit. He hopes he hid it well enough. "Why the fuck would you need to gag me?"

"Well, unless you want to give me a hint now, we can't have you squealing on me before I find them."

She starts tearing off a strip of tape.

"There's nothing here." Yea. Just keep it up Neku. That'll totally work.

[ironxtraitor]

"Well I'll just have to see for myself then won't I. Open wide!"

With that, she grabbed him by the hair again, shoving the wad of material into his face, intent on stuffing it into his mouth.

[Well, Neku's not opening his mouth, so... good luck with that. He'll also be glaring at her, as if that would actually do something.]

Well if he's not going to cooperate, she'll just have to pinch his nose. He'll need to breathe eventually.

Unfortunately, yea, he does. He can hold his breath for a while but not forever. Damnit.

She can wait. As soon as he takes that breath he's getting a mouthful of cloth.

That unfortunately happens eventually, so Neku will be here glaring at her as she tapes it to his mouth.

At least she lets him have his air back once the ball of fabric is firmly in his mouth, and she secures it with two strips of tape sealing his lips. His glare seems to do little more than amuse her though, as she chuckles softly and pats his cheek.

"You just chew on that for a while," she remarks with a smirk before standing and sauntering off into the next room. Within a few minutes he can probably hear her rummaging around.
